Will paypal limit me?
 

Hi

I have opened a paypal account with a credit card linked to ebay so my fees can be paid.

I havent yet verified my bank account,

I will be being paid approximatly £900 via paypal and will need to send this money to my supplier in china to pay for the goods I am selling on ebay.
They will then deliver the product direct to my customer.

If I send this money will paypal put a hold on this money and not allow my supplier receive it?

I have got my customers to pay a seperate paypal invoice so they will not put the usual hold on the funds as if they paid through ebay.

Its just a friend has done the same thing and they once put a hold on and another time let it go through no problem.

The question is :
Does anyone know of a way to stop them putting a hold on the money when it is sent to the supplier and them not to say that the payment is suspicious?

ie length of time to keep the money in my account before sending to supplier?
sending in two seperate payments? etc.

Drop shipping is fraught with problems.

A few questions, do your buyers know the item is comign from China?

If not, expect NEGS! Also, if the items are more than £18, your customers face paying import tax. They WILL NOT be HAPPY!

Secondly £900 in a brand new account is very dangerous, if PayPal limit you, your gone. You won't have the information you need.

Maybe try selling slower, £100 or less, that way is alot safer.

I had a £400 payment come in to a new account, the £400 was for an eBay item and was held under the 21 day rule. The account was limited even though I couldn't do anything with it!

Sorry, I have been paid to my paypal account for a few personal items I have sold on ebay and am thinking about starting an ebay dropshipping business.

The money I send to my chinese suppliers will be my money and they will dispatch my orders as I sell them.

The goods will be worth approximately £10 so no problems with import costs.
They will be fully aware where in the world they come from.

Is there a method of sending without them limiting?

Yeah, send it another way besides PayPal. Pay them another way, especially if you've done business with them before and trust them.
