Maximize visibility? How frequent should I list my identical items?

Good evening everybody,

I just have a question about how often I should put a listing in.

I have submitted a listing in about 3 days ago for 10 days

(on a fixed price listing)

and then by today I have about 67 pepple read my listing.

I was just wondering, if I put in another listing with exactly the same item,

would that double my chances of being seen? Or would it just attract the

same bunch of people? What is your experience?

Or would it attract only an additional 50% of new audience?

Auctions do attract more ppl but BIN is also good if the price is right. Cant tell if its the same buyers it attracts though.

I used BIN+Best offer last weekend and it worked great. 1 out of 6 visitors bought.

your listing will attract more ppl when you have 1 day left on it. 1 day auctions attract more ppl.

There are different ways to go about this and visibility also depends on DSR among other things. Keep experimenting and you'll see. I imagine everyone has different input on the matter. Plus it depends on what you're selling.

It depends how many competing listings show up. If you are 1 in 3, it wont help. If you are 1 in 150, the more the better. You will be seen more often, by more people.

OP,

I think it depends on if you're the only one selling this particular product or if there's a lot of competition. Another important factor is how much demand there is for what you're selling.

If you have a lot of competition selling an identical product, it might make more sense to put up more listings. Otherwise your listings might be overlooked. If you don't have a lot of competition, it could be smarter to make it seem as if there is a low supply or limited quantity of the item available, thus making your product more valuable and more likely to be purchased at a higher value.

Search for some of my posts regarding BINs versus AUCTION listings. It may be relevant to your interests.
