Paypal name?
 

Hi, i wonder if you could help me.
I was barred from ebay for no fault of my own running a legitimate business. I have now aquired an account from a friend decent score etc and want to start trading again.
However there is no paypal linked to the account currently and i wanted to know what is the best thing for me to do.
Does the name on the paypal account have to match the account on ebay? or can i open a new bank account and link that?
Any tips would be greatly appreciated thanks.

sounds like u need to purchase the eBay Stealth book or do a little research. Welcome to the forums.

It's very risky. You'll get your friend account suspended sooner or later. Don't do that, better read more on this forum then decide if you want to get a stealth book or not.

Thanks, i actually have bought the book and read it a few weeks ago. Don't remember it covering this part.

Was wondering, though, my mum who has a different surname and address to me and has never used ebay.. could i start a paypal for her and do it that way. The main concern for me is not wanting the money i make on ebay going into somebody elses bank account that all?

You can use friends account
 

Make a Paypal account with your friends info, make it match ebay... add your own bank account. No one can see whos name is on the bank, so it doesnt matter whos name the account is in.

If you want to keep this new account in good standing , you MUST be careful... so some research on the forums before you do anything else.
