Need help from experienced ebayers!!!!
 

I have a account sell software and one of my competitor use a account try to bring me down. I check this account's purchasing history, He buy the same software from different seller. What he did was he make a payment for the product and claim to Paypal immediately, So, Paypal hold the fund and I even can not refund money to him. I don't know why paypal just hold money and I can not refund the money. If paypal start a investigation, I may lost the account because I sell software online. (This is what happen before even I sell official software). I wonder what should I do under this situation.

There is no best way to handle this kind of situation.

If it happens to you before, then why don't you block that id?

When this kind thing happens, you should always block those buyers. Note down their mailing addresses somewhere, set up some filters in your email. Next time, if the same guy purchases from you again let's say using a different ID different email address, the same shipping address will still be flagged in your email, so you don't even bother to ship the product. just tell him it's out of stock/back-ordered, or some nice story, refund the payment and block him.

I really dislike people who do that. It makes no sense to report your competitors, you both will get sales. You just need to find a way to market your products and get the sell over your competitors the fair way. People get a little too greedy on ebay. Its really not that serious.

I agree with you, I try to find people retail my product, I would like to be a wholesaler.
