Using ⊗⊗⊗⊗ names opposed to a friends or relatives

I know using a friends or family members name and info is best to make an ebay and pp acc. but i need to use ⊗⊗⊗⊗ names and addresses i guess so what is the best way to go about this? Any thoughts or ideas would be great with details.

Isn't all that in the stealth guide?

lakeman 10-17-2009 08:09 PM

I was going to say the same thing. Ebay got me, I suggest you reread the stealth book.

Just make any ⊗⊗⊗⊗ name. But be realistic. Put a common name like"john or Casey." Don't put stupid name down like "Washi Masie." The problem with ⊗⊗⊗⊗ names is providing documents when paypal requires them when they limit your account. But, there are way's around that. You have to be creative. Also paypal usa may require a ssn number. If you draw in thousands of dollars in a small amount of time then paypal will limit your account.

Ideally the friends/relatives names might be used. But it happens that none are available. So what to do? yoz has just mentioned in the previous post about being careful of what name gets used & the reasons.

What you could consider is a variation of your own name: this is just an example but say you are Michael Jackson, then your new account could be in the name of Mickey Joe Jackson, Alter the name where you can. {If you go as far as to use ING then this nickname is fine with them.}

As for the address I recommend that you use an address that you can access. mail does come from both ebay/paypal & if there is a return of a sold item, how do you cover that with an inaccessible address. :ranger:

Using friends and family is the last and worst thing to do. My thinking sez you are asking this because you are not too fluent in stealth. So, odds are, you will run into some type of complication the first time or two while you develop your technique. If you use a relative or friend, and something goes funky, you might not get invited for thanksgiving or a date with your friend's sister/brother.

Fabrication of moniker is platinum. Try to pick something very similar to your own or vastly different.

Ideas? If your name were Vic Velcro, I'd suggest Nick Metro or Zig Waldenwood. You could always pick a random book from the local library, have your spouse pick a number between 31 and 19, then read the book until you count that many names in. Use that one.

Call the police information line. When they answer the line, make note of the last name given. Then call the local gym. Make note of the first name given. Combine those. (it works).

For address, find a UPS store and rent a box. Or if there's an empty house near you, use that address. Or bribe somebody that works at the local no-tell motel to receive mail and hold it for you at the desk.

Ya i figured so much but just was kinda worried about if/when i get froze pp acc. how am i going to get money out if i have no real id for the made up name/person, or is this just a loss i guess. So therefore just make sure i take money out of the acc. on a regular basis so if this does happen it wont be such a big hit right.

^^^If it gets to that, you apply the forum motto. 'There's a way around everything'. Such problems can be resolved ;)

ok so what exactly does pp ask for when/if this happens that way i can be prepared? If you wouldnt mind given me a heads up, i just want to be ready in case if i even can be.

GreenBean 10-17-2009 09:03 PM

paypal asks for details that range from ID to invoices. Such details get supplied if requested.

If you are referring to the 180day goodbye:

At the end of the 180 days, they put the money in the bank account that was most recently on file in their database. If the account is dead (everyone thinks they have to close their account when they get the 180 day Dear John), they will mail a check to the physical address that was on file already.

Personally, I always use a real address that exists somewhere and is a location I can actually retrieve mail from.

If I got a 180 day note, I would not close the bank account. I would immediately inform my bank that the account was now to be considered a DEPOSIT ACCOUNT ONLY and that no debits would or should be authorized except by me in person at the counter in front of a living breathing human. No checks, no ACH, no ATM. Only incoming money. Thank you. I would put it in writing, have it notarized in front of two witnesses, deliver it in person by me to the bank manager. I would ask for his/her signature as receipt of certificate of service. I'd keep that filed away safe someplace. Not in my safe deposit box at the same bank...

So at the end of 180 days pp. sends you a check with whatever the balance is? Also is there a time frame that after so long your acc is reactivated? Or is the only way to actually have proof of the person on the acc. to reactivate?

GreenBean 10-17-2009 09:55 PM

If you get the 180 days, Dear John, then the paypal account never returns. A letter comes out (sometimes) We no longer want to do business with you & the funds get held.

There are also other limitations where your action can resolve the limits. (as mentioned by pm)

These are just the different things paypal does :ranger:

Exactly. eBay is a CORPORATION not a financial institution so we can do to them as they do unto us. I call it a creative application of love thy neighbor.

use your porn star name, pet + street you grew up in........

DogFacedBoy 07-06-2010 05:20 PM

I've used addresses such as if there is say 1050 Elm Street and 1054 Elm...1052 Elm will work. Also would-be addresses where there is an intersection work as do addresses of parking lots or parks. I think it pretty much just has to be an address that "could" exist.
For instance if the street stops at 2000 and you use a number like 3200, they will find out...it has happened to me.
Here is something I always wondered if it would work.
Set up Paypal with a stealth address, fill out a "change of address" form at the post office to have the mail forwarded to an address that you can actually receive mail at. Use it to get a Paypal debit card delivered.
Sounds pretty neat if it would work, but will the post office pick up on the address that is no longer in use did not exist?
Also does anyone know if there are any legal ramifications as far as postal regulations?
