Is it safe to pay with echeck/VCC on a stealth account?
 

Forgive me if this is a dumb question, but I searched the forum and couldn't find any confirmation.

I have a stealth account that I opened originally only to accept payments, but there are a few places that are only accepting PayPal. Since I don't always have funds in my account, is it safe to pay with an echeck from my bank account? I know that PayPal can't match the names, but I don't know if PayPal initiating a payment request to my bank (BoA) might cause any problems?

I'm assuming that paying with the VCC attached to my account is fine as long as I have enough funds, correct?

It's not such a dumb question. Provided the funds are available for the payment, it can be done with the vcc or echeck. echeck does have a longer turnaround to complete the transaction.(up to 5 days sometimes) I have a 'play' stealth account. I make payments as you described.

That is true! I'm too hung up on the stealth aspect. After all, the only difference between my old account and my new one is a name change! ;)
