New account verification through live chat!

Had a lot of questions with LIVE HELP. Wondering why it happened

Any ideas? I tried to activate my auctiva and they put me on this process? I just guess about the public records and google some stuff. Are they really checking all this stuff?

Yep, ebay are clamping down with security. The account sat dormant for two years & suddenly gets used, what would you think if you saw activity?
ebay check to protect themselves.

I have had this happen several times over the last year or so.... as GB said it is usually when starting to sell on an account that has been dormant for a while.

Never been a problem long as I have all the correct info to hand.
