Visa Gift Card registration question

So i'm going to register a Visa gift card to use with paypal, and I'm stuck in a little bit of a loop. To register for paypal i need a new phone number, I want to get a VOIP virtual phone number to use with paypal. In order to pay for the VOIP phone number I want to use a virtual CC I also bought for paypal verification.

Well here's where it gets tricky, to activate the CC i need to enter in the last 4 digits of my phone number. I don't have this phone number yet as I need to use the CC to pay for the phone number.

So anyways, in short, does the last 4 digits of the phone number registered my gift card have to match the phone number I'm giving paypal?

No it doesn't. Paypal doesn't look at your phone number on your credit card.

Lakeman is right, PayPal can't see your real number you used with your prepaid card.

Most companies protect their consumers and don't hand over information like that lightly, you're safe.

So even when registering my card, with my name, adress, etc. Is it ok if it's my real phone number, not the one i'm using with paypal? Everything else would be ⊗⊗⊗⊗, the name and stuff but the phone number can be real right?

I did but I was referring to the last 4 numbers when activating it (last 4 didgets of phone number), the 2nd question was about registering it (whole phone number and adress, etc.).

So yes I read the replies, I just wanted to be sure that I the answer would apply to both questions.
