limited paypal access, should i ship item out?

hi,
i am new to the forum. my paypal just got limited access. please help. right now i have over 2k being held in the account. i still have over 20 items that i haven't shipped out. should i ship these out or should i provide a refund? i really like to get this limit lifted. i used legit info for my paypal account. right now they require me to provide ssn, invoices, and supplier info. i am kind of new to this so i am not sure whats the best approach for invoices and supplier info. by providing a refund, does that make it harder to get the account lifted? thanks for the help.

Hi, If you have all the genuine info then it should be fine to ship the items and work on getting the limitation lifted - It is probaby just a result of your sales volume and the extra precautions PayPal are taking for the holiday season.

You could also refund the buyers and provide the info to get the limitation lifted just the same.

The only problem here is that you may get some negative/neutral feedback from buyers.

thanks for the reply. is it best to verify each item at a time or send it all in at once? i like to verify my ssn first. i think i had a paypal account a long long time ago that went bad. not sure if i used my ssn at that time tho. i want to put my ss# in to see it that will clear. if it does i will ship item out. if it doesn't i will provide refund. is this a good approach? thanks

I have a similar problem but this account is Ste@@@ in this case what would you do refund the money? Or still ship them out?

Don't give em your SS number.

If you have had a previous account go bad and this account shares the same details refund the payments, bin the account and move on to pastures new

o ok :( any advise for me??

I responded to your thread... no point adding another paypal to your Ebay it will just get limited.

If you can't provide what they ask for then the same advice applies! Best to start again. Any money left in your Paypal will be released after 180 days. You can phone em and refuse to give your SS number on a privacy basis.... so it all depends how confident you can be on the phone and how good you are at 'creating' documents with editing software.
