Subscriber Forum NEW Account Ebay ID Verification

Ok, I am probably going to become a serious regular on here because I have gotten pretty good at the Stealth thing thanks to this guide and everything. I wanted to see what you guys have found out so far about the new ID verification through Ebay. Any updates? I am posting this the day after Christmas, so lets post our luck with this now that the holidays are over. Also, I have this posted in the normal forum as well, but I wanted to post in here too so we can all be completely full and detailed with everything.

No one has been able to figure out a solution. Ebay seems to have us beat for now.

Not good! We have to be able to find away around this stuff.

bump.... Has anyone been getting around this, it seems I am getting this at here and there on new accounts. I thought I had a good way but still getting hit with this new I.D Verify flag.

I just got threw opening another 10 accounts the other day and didn't get hit with that, never have.

What is your process for creating the accounts into sellers?

jbluntz 02-15-2010 11:02 PM

After I confirm my gift card and bank acc. in paypal I purchase a few ebooks until I have 5 feedback then I list a 1 day auction set up paypal as automatic payment, recieve the phone call from ebay enter the pin and that's it. That' what I do on all my accounts and it works.

A few ebooks? Well that isn't going to flag this suspension. Try listing a bunch of real items and it will change. If you go slow enough there is a chance you can avoid the itendity verification. However, I can confirm that if you call them within 48 hours of the suspension you can now get them to remove the limitation about 90% of the time. They just ask you a few questions. Otherwise, after 48 hours, they ask you mail in a photo ID and utility bill. These are easily made and eBay lifts the suspension within 72 hours after you submit docs.
