Default How do I dig myself out of this?

Almost $1000 transaction thru eBay, paid with Paypal. Terribly not as described, but seller had clever language in his description that led eBay to cancel my claim. Can I attack thru Paypal? How about "unauthorized transaction"? Anyone have ideas? Trying to simply open a claim thru Paypal sends me to eBay resolution center.

need more info.

Did you pay for this with a credit card? I'm guessing not.

Call paypal...tell them your side.

Usually unauthorized charge works only with credit card as funding source now that you have a lost/closed claim with ebay...unauthorized charge should have been your first cry not second.

Calling paypal is about your only option at this point besides your cc company

Paid with a bank transfer, can't use real credit cards with stealth account sadly. What do I tell Paypal? The same stuff I told eBay?

So you are sure "unauthorized transaction" would not work? I have a good story made up for why all of it happened.

Send the item back w/ tracking. Once its in route, call PayPal and speak with a rep about it. I've found reps will pull strings for you if your claim sounds legit.
