1p refund still working to release 21-day holds? NO LONGER
 

I couple of months ago I did partial refund for the lowest amount possible ( £0.01 ) on a ebay for a transaction. When I did this my funds was immediately available. Does this still work or have paypal found this out and stopped it now?

Unfortunately Paypal have clocked on and this trick no longer works. It was good whilst it lasted...

That trick has ended but you can still get around it a little, here's a little tip.

Try selling on a different ebay site to what you are registered on and accept that currency in paypal.

ie: if your account is registered on ebay .co.uk , sell some items on ebay .com.au and accept Australian dollars in paypal, you'll see these payments don't get held, only the items bought in £'s from ebay .co.uk are held and you can withdraw all the Aussie ones.

Do they get converted into US currency if you order funds withdrawal into your bank account?

convert it in paypal before withdrawing.

Thanks..Would it raise any red flags if you list on other Int. Ebay sites with US IP?

I've never had any problems listing on other sites (US & Aus). As long as you have 10 feedback and verified PP it is all good.

You do lose a bit on the conversions though!

No it doesn't raise flags and different geographical located IP addresses don't either.
