VeROed twice. Restricted --> wait?
 

I've been veroed twice now, it says my account has been restricted for 7 days and that if I do it again, it results in suspension.

The message is stuck in my eBay message box till April (3 months). If I wait till then and start selling afterward, will that mean I get 2 more chances again till suspension? Basically, is my slate "wiped clean" after 3 months?

The exact same thing happened to me. They removed my listings and suspended my account for 7 days, this was after two VeRo violations.

My opinion is that, if you start selling again and get VeRo'ed again, you're done. No matter if it's three months or a year. They have a track record of how many VeRo violations on your account and I doubt they erase that after three months. I don't believe ANY kind of violations are "erased" off your account at all.

I could be wrong here, anyone care to confirm?

Happened to me too & guess what they have restricted me from selling for ONE MONTH! This is the second time they are restricting me for ONE MONTH not ONE WEEK... I wish there was a way i could complain about ebay & this time, my account was restricted because they did not like the way i listed my item ? what the hell is that supposed to mean?? All i did was change the title add doller sign or percentage....I HAVE VERO!

I lerned it today.

they suspended me because of 1 VERO 7 month ego!
and 1 1!!!!!!!!!!! negtive feedback ( I had 550 feadback!!!! 99.7% positiv)
and quote- " some customers complained" but no spesifics

I did have 7 acounts suspended.
they must did not like this many!

I went to the account section on eBay and under "policy compliance", it said that violations were deleted after 1 year.

It only shows on your dashboard for 90 days but stays on your account for a full year. Now your compliance mark will not be high again until they fall off.

If you list again, you'll get a 30 day restriction, and if you do it again after that, you get suspended for a full year.

this is why you always have a back up account handy.... If you're caught selling vero, cool down for a little while on that account, and start selling something else with it. I always rotate mine.
