New laptop new IP?

Will I get new IP when I get a new laptop?

I am using Verizon DSL via phone cord. Thanks

It doesn't work that way. :)

But usually resetting your broadband modem gets you a new IP address.

Go to ipBurger.com to jot down your IP address.. then reset your modem and check ipburger.com again to verify your IP changed.

Good luck,

Aspkin,
I change my ip address everytime i log on to my ebay accounts - i have 2 currently. is that going to be a problem?? also i read paypal will limit you for using different ips each time you log on?? well basically with me, i only log on to paypal once or twice in a week, when i receive payment to note down customer address.

thanks

No using different IPs is not a problem. I have a dynamically assigned IP address (as do many others) that changes everytime I connect.

It is more important that you preserve your cookie/flash data for each account - so seperate windows user accounts all the way!
