query about BOA transfer time
 

Hey Gang!

Can anyone that has some experience transferring funds from PayPal to BOA give me an idea on how long the transfers usually take to complete?

I just initiated the first transfer from a new stealth account to a new BOA account yesterday, and as it's the first time I've used BOA, I was just wondering how long I should wait before I start to get worried! ;)

One to two days max. It typically says completed after 24 hours and then appears in your account the next morning for withdrawal.

All banks are fine with withdrawing to a stealth name, except for those marked in the list the Green Bean posted the link for like Capital One. Bank of America is no different than the others in regard to stealth withdrawals. Go with a bank not on this list and you will be fine.

2 to 3 business days, typically. BOA works fine for me, has been for years.


Also, don't forget ebay/paypal does not link accounts with names. You can open an account under your name, different everything else, and still make withdrawals to ING, Wachovia, etc...

Most banks have no problems with names. BUT there can be problems.

The two banks you mentioned have given users troubles. Be careful please.:peace:

Once you initiate the transfer in paypal and then it changes to show "completed" - it will likely show in your BoA acct within 24 hours or less. Just depends on timing and how often BoA updates.

No problems for me ever......knock on wood :D
