Listing website name on ebay???

Hello, how is everyone doing today? I ran across something strange today and i was hoping someone had some insight regarding it.

While searching for something random on ebay I came across a seller whose ebay user ID was the name of their website. It was literally www.theirwebsite.com, I couldn't believe my eyes. Is this something new ebay is allowing or do they have some type of special arrangement? Also I may have to note that the seller was registered since 1999. Besides this does anyone know of any other places where ebay allows you to list your domain name on your account?

It was laid out like www.xxxx.com? that's really weird... ebay doesn't really allow people to direct to other websites, unless they approve it. Have you tried to create a user ID with a domain in it before?

Yes it was an actual web address for a user ID and it was a seller which has been around since 99 and have over 30k feedback. I actually saw another one with a newer seller recently. I'm not sure what to make of it.


I remember reading a while back where there are a few places where you can actually list your website name on ebay although I can't recall the locations, does anyone know?
