A little more info on my friend's spoof email.
I checked out the "respond now" button and it goes to a site called icimod.org
I then checked out the same button on an email that I knew was real and it goes to contact.ebay.com

Might be good to keep in mind to check these out in the future, because the emails themselves sure do look real.

Got this notice about a month ago that I was under 5 percent satisfaction on ebay. People want there stuff so fast.So i could only sell 70 percent of my 3 month average(then after that they would decide if I was going to be booted). I sell rock shirts, so some times I have to wait for suppliers to ship to me. So my feedback got low, and some jackasses left multiple negatives.
I guess ebay is really getting hard. This notice has come to over 3 accounts thru my business. One account had 80 feedbacks 5 negs.
They want you to be amazon and shipped asap. All my buyers are young and they freak out if there item isnt on there door steps in 15 days.So I guess feedbacks do help, because once you get this notice you better out perform you past history.
One of the accounts was frozen after the 3 month period and could only buy items.
Also how to you track cheap items overseas. Its seems like any jackass from overseas can say he never got his item and get a paypal refund.Shipped over a thousand overseas items never got one returned with a wrong address.

Yeah from what I have read you are selling ed hardy or artful dodge shirts( Yes, i m very good at decrypting messages) counterfeit clothing

And your products are coming from China overseas.

So you can either..

1. Ship directly from supplier instead of supplier to you to customer..(You probably like shipping to you then customer so they wont see its coming from china..Most dont care).

2. DropShip directly from china to the customer( this is what I would do)

3. Make sure you note in your listings that shipping will take anywhere from 10-15 days. in big red letters and also note that the products is coming from overseas directly from the warehouse...


15 days is too long for shipping. Even though my shipping can take up to 15 days I make it known in my auction listings

I buy rock t shirts from the garment district in los angles and some wholesalers thru the web. Im sure it would be all over for me if I was selling ed hardy. My sales are more just a collection of alot of variety from punk to metal to jazz(some are dirty and some are legit). My only veros have been a handful since starting this company. But as we all know you can get taking down for selling some jeans that did'nt fit with tags.

You know I was just about to ask this question also. Do they take the suspension off of you after 7 days? I got 3 more days to find out on the account if it does. Anyone else?


edit now that i remember a lil somewhat, im 70 percent sure they would want you to send a fax statemt with ur license to say you will not doing anything wrong again like this on ebay. Then on the 7th day you can sell. But I have a feeling theyll call you 2 weeks later and want more info.

Yes, they do ask for your personal info to be sent in before you can get the account back

You probably did one of the following:

1. Logged into your account by clicking the "Login" button too quickly twice in a row.
2. Listed an item (a big "no no").
3. Attempted to create a seller account (eBay hates sellers).
4. Attempted to create a buyer account (eBay hates buyers).

So avoid the above and you should be fine! :D

I did some thinking of what it culd have been then it all of a sudden hit me. I use googlecheckout as my merchant and someone emailed me earlier letting me know that ebay told him that he shouldnt pay for his item because i was using googlecheckout and then bam my account was suspended for reason given above, does this sound about right to everyone?

You didn't mention Google Checkout right there on your listing, did you? That would have most certainly done it.

No i didnt list it at all. Someone i guess emailed or used the live help to ask ebay if they should pay me in googlecheckout because he wrote to me telling me that ebay told him not to pay me

This is a new listing remove title I have never seen.

This account was suspended with out a suspension email.


Has anyone seen this type on notice or know what it is?

No idea, MC could be the initials and 24 the age of the eBay monkey that suspended the account.

Do you by chance have the suspension emails?

Think its an new INternal coding their using, just got 2- MC067 yesterday. NO followup emails, as the letter says to follow,though. BOTH accts that got the MC-67, were selling NAME items, authentic, but still NAME items. so by process of elimination, maybe we can narrow the codes down? If severla people share their codes/items we can sure begin to decode them. One of my accts had 1- very generic non related category, that lasted over 2 months, as soon as Name item for $19 got added, it went..

Mine the same, now it's 4 accounts suspended for MC067, and no suspended email but accounts suspended.
eBay, send all my customers email let them open a dispute via paypal. Now I got 4 claims and 7 disputes on Paypal. I have sent out their items but they're on the way.

No, not yet. I went to the Library yesterday- sent an email asking wat it was about, but so far never recd a reply... THINKING----MAYBE just maybe there is NO MORE hints to us???? They are becoming more and more secretive...

HI- have PURPOSELY did some experiments on different accts, to try to zero in on why they are suspending? went through over 20 accts in the last 30 days--- I can definitely say-- the accts selling the BRAND NAMES or BIG NAME items--got the axe the fastest... I had -0- suspended for LINKED TO AN OLD ACCT (thanks to aspkins forum). BUT... either through a competitor noticing my items, even with new pics, new verbage, the accts with the NAME items took the fall, 2 daysago- tested the NAME item on an acct that was up for 6 weeks selling 1 item worth $15-$25. The NAME item was only $19-- Within 6 hours of the listing-- that acct was MC067...
Seems they are not telling us why anymore, they have went to a coding system, If we all SHARE the TRUTH about the codes, we can figure them out. i,e, I already know (and we prob all do)--the simple stuff- listings cancelled for circumventing ebay fees- shipping chgs too high, stealing others photos, offering more than 1 item for sale, placing a cross pen in a montblanc category to get exposure, etc. SO- with that said-I can honestly Verify through 2 of my own accts--that MSC067-- has to do with NAME BRANDS, i.e. ROLEX in particular. (not watches, but simple scarf or box or tie clip)- small stuff authentic, but not allowed for a new acct, with 0,1,2 feedback, WHAT i did was :
>> List the ROLEX item-- but not mention ROLEX in the TITLE-- I put the brand in the descript-- and then I listed it in the rolex watch category- to give it exposure, (as soon sa you put ROLEX in the TITLE- it gets killed)-- BOTH accts were killed because of this, Both accts were MSC-067.

Well I only sell Name Brand fashion apparel and got a MC018. I still have several other accounts still selling.

Could MC mean merchant account. Did anyone who received a MC notice offer paypal? I know I don't offer paypal in my listings

HI- NO, I have ppal in this particular listing, thinking maybe the lower codes are Warnings, + the higher ones are suspensions?? MY MC-067 was indefinite suspensions, then the MC-011 was warning, it DID Not even ask me to take the TUTORIAL, which i think i know the 13 questions off by heart....:))

CHris-- BTW, this acct is over 1 year old, has fb of 2, been seller for 6 mos, only had 2 items listed, 1 for $19, 1 for $50.... Maybe the AGE is the ONLY thing that saved it from total MC067???
