MC011 Your eBay selling account has been limited

Hey guys, I just got a MC011 - never had one before. I did a search through these forums , but I am still experiencing a problem with this.

I just got a couple negative feedbacks , nothing different just a random surge (3 negatives in a week) , and suddenly ebay put a 75% selling limit on my account. But it seems they are putting my items down in the search results too or something, because I can't seem to get ANY sales anymore!

I am kinda stuck between a rock and a hard place: In order to get this MC011 removed I have to sell and get good feedback from that, but they are not letting me sell anything! Hence my account is paralyzed, and has been for months :(

And I was just starting to get some good business... selling non vero, being completely legit, paying my fees like a good boy, it just goes to show ebay will shut down anything...

Please help!!

Thanks,

rafc

Why did you get 3 negative feedbacks in one week? To me that says that you are doing something wrong. You need to figure out what went wrong and change it. Then you should try to sell tons of cheap things and offer free postage and ship out the same day to try and get as much 5 star feedback that you can obtain. Getting the 5 star feedback is the only way to get your DSR ratings up so that your items will appear higher in the search results and get the selling limit to go away. Either that or just start a new account which you would be better off doing in my opinion.

Woah, get a new account after just 3 neg feedbacks? It's a 5 year old account :(

No, I wasn't doing anything wrong, all positive until those. It came completely out of the blue.

Good idea, by the way. I'll list a load of cheap items to get some sales.

Getting a total of 3 negative feedbacks isn't as bad as getting 3 within a week. What were the complaints from the customers. What are your current DSR ratings?

They are my only negative feedbacks - 3 in one week, totally bizarre.

It was just customers who simply didn't like the items I sell, and they were quick to post negative feedback without even asking for a return. I don't know if it was a competitor on an alternate ebay account or something but if it was, they succeeded.

I did try to do your suggestion but I can't list any items to get my feedback score up! I'm paralyzed!

:(
