Should the address match the SSN and name exactly?
 

Here's my situation...

I'm opening up my first stealth account. Just got the bank account in place, getting my phone number today.

I have a friend who is in the military who's going to let me use his name and SSN (He wants a cut... hey, can you blame him!). I'd use his address but hes currently overseas and the post office has a hold on his mail, so theres no way for me to get it. (and he lives like 250 miles away, the address and my IP wouldnt match up well)

Is it possible for me to use his name and SSN, but get another address like a mail drop place? How much of a no-no is that? When Paypal runs your SSN to verify who you are, if the address on file, and address in the credit file don't match up, is that a big deal?

I dont have anyone nearby who's willing to let me use their SSN and address.

Paypal doesn't run a full credit check to verify addresses. The just match the name through a database to the SSN. Since your friend is letting you use his info make sure that you take it slow with the account and follow all the steps in the stealth guide so the account doesn't get limited right away. As for the IP matching up to the address that isn't a big deal. Just make sure the iP you are using hasn't been used on a suspended account

Yes it will cause lots of problems to use a SSN that has never been at the address that you provide. You would also have to answer about 5 questions when using a SSN. Stay away from any SSN unless your opening your bank account.
