CCNOW and paypal?

Is it possible to accept paypal via CC now without actually having a paypal account? Will CCnow act as some sort of liason?

koalawash 12-05-2007 11:29 PM

Yes. I've done this before, but I really wouldn't recommend it. Best to just use a ⊗⊗⊗⊗ Paypal account and bypass CCnow's EXTRA fees altogether. Plus you have to wait forever-and-a-half to receive your money from each sale.

hi- i do this all the time.. the accts selling from -none of them have paypal acct- but ALL my auctions are paypal preferred, etc, (what the buyers have been conditioned to look for).. yes, ccnow takes time to get funds, but its nice to get that lump pyt instead of using your paypal debit card daily buying junk. candy, gasoline, then end of month- nothing to show....

WOW!! Accept paypal without threat of limitations?? Too good to be true!

What do you fill in on the paypal address on ebay when you list an item, and how do you get your buyers to use it?

KOALA- i'm not sure that will work now on brand new paypal ebay accounts since they now LIMIT your hnew paypal account as soon as you receive a payment, and SUSPEND the associated ebay account if the ebay item number was used to link and identify the payment.

what do you mean?

Has this been happening most people?? I really had no idea.. It hasn't been a problem for me at all.

koalawash 12-07-2007 07:43 PM

I wouldn't take it that far. The items I sell all range from at least $60 to about $250 or so, and it still hasn't been a problem with new accounts if no disputes arise.

ccnow update--
I just got my CHristmas money deposited yesterday from ccnow-
JUst like clock work.. never a hold.
I know paypal would have had a fit to process over $25k in sales in 3 weeks..
I look at it like a short term 2 week savings account. If all those funds were available to me daily- I'd be at Walmart with my Paypal Atm card buying toys + clothes.. so, for me--it works. :))

On you ccnow account do they wire the money into your bank account or do they send you a check

heather 01-04-2008 01:10 PM

I just signed up and they can either send you a check, direct deposit into your bank or wire transfer.

can you use ccnow with auctiva ?

ivegotinfo 01-05-2008 01:37 PM

can you add different paypal accounts to the ccnow? as i have an account for each of my ⊗⊗⊗⊗ identities, and logging into each one, withdrawing little by little all the time is getting annoying, if they all went to one ccnow it would be good.

ebayhateluv 01-05-2008 09:32 PM

yes- have had 7-11 accts, and as high as 18 at christmas on 1 ccnow acct...
btw--have been doing this since august..
