Getting Verified in Foreign Countries Question???

If countries like Canada, Australia ect...dont use SS#'s what does Paypal ask you for in place of them. I was just wondering

I know Canada uses SIN but not sure if PayPal asks for it. I don't think so it's just a USA thang....

USA has the dreaded SSN# request implemented as confirming ID. The major other countries dont ask for the equivalent.....yet:pout: That's part of making paypal in another country. There's a question of IP address and access to bank accounts. Some European countries verify by CC/VCC. Local address & language
come into play.

Slightly OT, Indian paypal accounts were getting a lot of O/S popularity. Now all of those accounts need that country's ID to have an account.

It's not an easy-out to make an overseas paypal. It requires work to go that route:peace:
