Tips for generating NON ebay sales through ebay?

this is an interesting topic. are you talking about, for example, selling.....tea pots on ebay and using those auctions to drive traffic to your website that sells tea pots??? is THAT what you are talking about?

Some quick tips

1) When you sell an item, make a flyer and ship it along with the product. In the flyer add a coupon code and your URL to your store, they can use like 20% off or whatever if they shop at your web store.

2) Create an about me page and add your web store banner. I know it's against ebay rules to add your URL to your auction but I think it's allowed to add it to your about me page.

3) To get traffic to your ebay store you can create a blog using wordpress and just talk and review the products your selling and link them to your ebay store.

you can post a link to your 3 favorite websites on your about me page then put a link in all your listings to your about me page and encourage people to visit it .

in my listing somewhere next to the top i will put something like

To read a little bit about us please click here and then on the about me page i will put something like


Click here to save money NOW (link text)

Very good site about "something relevant" (link text)

you get the idea

then on your site offer a free gift with every item purchased and keep the price just under the ebay price .

i also do the flyer thing above but i send a fridge magnet too as there not as disposable and if people are happy with the item they usually put it on there fridge or whatever
