Default Slight problem, cannot cancel auction!

I have an auction ending in two hours and I no longer have the item. I tried canceling but, eBay is telling me I can't because there are bids on the item. The reason I don't have it is because my roommate who thought she was doing me a huge favor sold it to a friend without my knowledge.

What can I do? I can't afford a negative feedback this early. The account is still pretty fresh. I'm at a loss of what to do, the item that got sold to her friend has been opened and used so I can't get that back...

Is the buyer being understanding my only hope or is there another way? I'm currently revising the auction stating the item is no longer for sale...

I've had that happen a couple times I just kept canceling bids and blocking buyers and just told them I didn't have it anymore, you can't revise your listing if it's ending in 12 hrs or less or if it has bids on it.

I ended up finding a way to get passed it. Called up my sis and she bid on the item wayy higher than it's worth. Ticked off received payment, shipping and I get a free + feedback so it all worked out :D

I hope you did not get the Feedback yet, it is Kinda tough to believe that someone won your auction, paid, recieved the iten, loved it, and left Positive feedback, all without a Paypal or any electronic Payment ALL within 2 hours.

Good luck trying to fight a Shill bidding suspension when Ebay see's that
