Funding Paypal Account

I just opened up a paypal account using a relatives info with their prior approval. I need to buy some items on ebay......so I bought a Visa Gift Card (gift2go) ......how in the world do I add this $$ to my paypal account?

The only options it gives me is greendot and banking account? What am I overlooking?

You add the card to pp and then when you buy something you select it as your funding source.
