MC010 Verification - Best time to call?
 

Anyone know the best time to call that verification number - 866-643-2959?

I'm using a tracfone that has the number listed in my stealth account but the hold time is long.....eating up too many of my precious tracfone minutes.

I've tried using a spoof card and calling with my other unlimited minute phone but having it show up in call ID as my tracphone number but I think it sees something is wrong. You get the first female recorded voice but before she can ask you to input your pin number, a male recorded voice comes on and says the there is a problem with the account and to call: 800-964-8450. I have done that once but they are not Ebay. I think it says it's like Tell Tech or something like that.

I tried the general support number: 408-376-7400 but I can't get a live person. What is weird is that I called that number for another account a few days ago, got a live person and verified my account.

I tried Live Chat but the person kept referring me back to the original number and saying that I HAD to call that and put in my pin.

So what is your exp? What is the best time to call the verification number to get right through? Or does someone know the extension number to that Trust and Safety Team?

And....I just got hit with a MC010 on another account that I started listing on yesterday. And I'm being good with that one. No Vero...just used computer and tv parts. Wierd.

That doesn't sound like MC010, you usually get hit with that after you list your first item. Your trying to get the pin to enter it still, sounds like maybe your out of minutes or maybe you used the number on anther account or something, I've never had that happen yet, I've had a few MC010's though but not like that also I got a live person in less than a minute that was in the evening.

Yes, it is MC010. But using a Spoof card from a different phone is not working. They are able to to detect that you are doing something flakey with the call.

I'll try again. And I may try first thing in the AM when they open. I think the weekends are just probably busy though. My first hold time was 10+ minutes before I hung up.

I called 3 different times in the evening during the weekdays and every time I was connected with someone in less than a minute.

I always get connected right away. Try do it with your real phone, even if it's banned i don't think they are going to check. (but I am not sure).
