I did not want to post this in the public area.

I was just advised by a supplier that there is an investigation of products from China going on in the US.

Los Angeles, San Francisco, Cincinatti and Chicago are the current hot spots. Only New York is not having major problems, but this could change at any time.

Expect potential delays if receiving legitimate goods.

For those expecting phakes, well.... you know....

BTW: I trust this guy, but cannot confirm this. It makes sense though, with so many people having packages delayed.

I wonder if this sort of thing happens every once in a while. Every year or every couple of years. Then cools off again.

Yes. It does. But the length of time the areas remain a problem varies.

I have 2 legitimate packages that will definitely make it through, but now I have to wait longer for them. Last time it took me almost a month to get my stuff.

This isn't good news at all. I have a couple shipments coming in next week. Do you know when this started? Because just last week I received two shipments both from different suppliers, one through San Fransisco, one through Los Angeles and they both released from customs in a day or maybe even less than that. If this is true though, I'd much rather delay my shipments for awhile and make sure the coast is clear. Anyone else have news on this?

Yes,it is not sure,as we have many packages to usa each day with no problem to pass us custom.CA,MA,and so on ,no problem yet.
