How to get PayPal let me use INSTANT BANK TRANSFER
 

Hi,

I think my ebay account is almost dead, before it goes and renders the linked paypal useless I wanted to buy some stuff and pay with instant banks transfer (IBT), this is where paypal gives the reciptient of the money their funds instantly but there is a 3-5 day delay in it taking money from the bank account, when they try to debit funds from my bank it will fail putting my paypal balance into the negitive.

Trouble is on all my paypal account the instant bank transfer option is greyed out and unavailable, they are all verfied with entropay cards, one is used regularly, anyone know how I can get it to let me use this option?, can it tell Im using prepaid cards of something? I'm in the UK.

How long has the account had the bank account verified for?

That usually makes a difference. I love the IBT payment, can be so useful and fun.

There doesn't seem to be any hard/fast rule tbh, much like 99% of everything to do with PP!

Its been on file with them since September of last year, so quite a while.

I did get limited a few months back but then they removed the limitation.

Do you reckon adding another VCC from a different vendor might help, hopefully one paypal doesnt flag as being a "prepaid" card?

paypal 'know' what any sort of card is. (All cards have specific numbers that ID the type). Is the card still current? Try another one.

If that ebay account goes down, the paypal account can be used for off ebay transactions.:pop2:

So, are you are asking how to steal from paypal on one last transaction?

Get the stuff shipped out before paypal finds out they cant get the money?
