Ok, I just signed up for first data and was approved but when I logged onto the website everything looked foreign to me. I was wondering if someone could give me a crash course on

How to you get your money?
What software do I need?
Since i'm sure pre 11/07 account do I just check accept visa, etc?
Can I take paypal payments without a paypal account?

hello. first data is one of the processors i use. so let me chime in. firstly, you are talking about the first data virtual terminal. you can use that to manually invoice. but you are going to need a gateway. first data offers you first data global gateway. read the pdf files about it. remember that the virtual terminal is basically just like google checkout etc etc, manual invoices only if using the virtual terminal. read all of the pdfs, play with the virtual terminal a bit, and in a half hour you will be sailing. however, i suggest you use auctiva to automatically send the invoices and make the checkout seamless for the buyer. otherwise, you will have more buyers asking you, why dont you use paypal i am frightened!!!
