Paypal agent said I can still appeal decision after account is on lockdown?

So after 30 days of a locked account Paypal decided to close my account after they said they spoke to a few different managers. Basically long story short I was slacking for a good month or so and fell a little behind orders ( get around 30-40 day) Disputes were made and I didnt respond to them quick enough. I told them to look at my history from the past to show there were no trends ever similar to this. ( 4 year Business verified member) They agreed with me but still considered me 'high risk".

They said I can still appeal and write a 1 page letter stating the problems that they didnt like and what I can do to fix them and preventing them from happening again. One of them they mentioned is "drop shipping". I live 5 minutes away from my supplier and can get anything I want in a matter of minutes.

Esentially what I am saying is what should I say and what are my chances of someone actually reading it and possibly lift my limitation?

Any help would be greatly appreciated....:help:

I personally think Paypal is just making you do "busy work". If they consider you high risk, you are prob done no matter what you do. If I was in your position, I would pack up and go stealth.

Unless you can provide more info on what you were selling, I can't really suggest what you can say.

Other forum members might chime in to help but you need more disclosure. If you are selling VeRo and since you are new to the forum, I can't help you much =(

If you're selling VeRO items you're out of luck. If your not and your account had an account manager (PayPal), you may have a fighting chance.

Do what they tell you to do, be honest with what happened and what you're going to do to fix it. Call them up a day or two after your fax and try and get your account back.

If you didn't have a PayPal manager.. then it may not be worth your time.

Most of the time appeals are never granted in your favour.
Even when you don't do anything wrong

Not selling any Vero items. The item I sell are actually considered low risk. Aluminum car parts for radio control cars. But in their mind im still considered high risk.

The person I spoke to his name was Keith. Who is an account manager according to the last email he sent me. I guess I'll give it a shot. Cant hurt right?

That's right it can't hurt - you are done in their books so whatever you say right now will either a) help or b) do nothing. If you have time to burn talking with clatterheads ay Paypal named XYZ then go ahead - I wish you the best.

If not, move on and wait for fund for Xmas...

This is hard to fix and very time consuming. I had an account get hit with 4 lost packages in one week and impatient buyers flipping out. It took almost a month to fix account. And a ton of work... And the next little issue just locked it down. Once you get tagged as a crappy seller it will remain a weak account and any little thing can be death. Do you really want to fix an account that's flagged with poor performance? I'm not saying its not worth it, that's your call. But be prepared for a long and frustrating ride.
