Default Paypal called me

Hi members & friends,

What happened to me yesterday may help some others......Here is my story:

I made a stealth ebay and paypal account a little over 40 days ago. I purchased 9 low priced items over the 40 day period and received 9 positive feedbacks.

I then decided to start selling EVER so slowly...so I listed a picture frame at auction for .99 plus $3.00 shipping. After the 7 day auction, I sold the frame for .99 plus shipping.

I received the payment to my stealth PP account and about an hour later I received a call from Paypal on my stealth tracfone. They were very friendly and asked when I was going to ship out the picture frame and congratulations on my first sale, etc. I told them I would mail it tomorrow and how excited I was to make my first sale and thanks for calling, etc.

The worry I have with all this is: I have another stealth account that is "aging" and by the time I make my first sale, my tracfone would be expired. (I've already used it to verify)

Do you think this means that we need to start having an active phone at all times?

Has this happened to anyone else?

PayPal likes to check in on you every so often so it's a good idea to have it active if your accounts are active.

Just me 2-cents.

Not sure how the trac works, but the prepaid I use is $10 a month to keep active. I would add time or minutes or however it works. Its worth it "just in case" they call. If they never call, so be it. But 7 months down the road if I get a random call I want the number active.

These accounts make money. So a small fee to keep phone alive is minor in my opinion.

Im using the evoice service. When you pick up the call the system will tell you who the call is for, good to keep track of it. and yes it is very important to make sure the phone # you have listed is active!
