Vanilla Visa Prepaid Cards no longer working for seller accounts?
 

Hey guys, I usually use Vanilla Visa Debit Cards to get my ebay accounts to become seller accounts and yesterday after I entered my card details it said They no longer allow prepaid cards to confirm the details on ebay accounts.

Has anyone else had any trouble with pre paid cards? Is there another way around this? Im using a pre 11/07 account if this helps any.

From what i understand they work with paypal, If you confirm and verify a paypal account you can attach it to the ebay account and you will be all set.

From my experience, Paypal may remove your bank account from prepaid card.

Prepaid cards stopped working with ebay several months ago. There are a couple that still work though.

I got the same problem..

"Credit or debit card - Sorry, prepaid cards can't be used for identity confirmation. Please use a valid credit or debit card."

My PP account was verified with this card first...but, still, it didn't go through when I tried to create a seller account with it.... :(

ptenchick, you cannot use the prepaid card with ebay.

Since you already have the card on your pp, when ebay asks to turn your account into a seller account, you select the pp option.

Thats the thing, I wasnt going to use paypal since I have an pre 11/07 account and I been using the visas for quite a while. What about a VCC? Are those still working?
