Default Re-Instated... yessss!!!

Well, a couple of days ago i decided to login into my old suspended account with REAL info. After logging in I decided to messge Ebay and tell them I wanted them to reinstate my account. I also mentioned how my Payapl was limited and I cannot use them for processing my payments. So, today i got an reply back from ebay and they have decided to reinstate my account and I am not obligated to use Paypal. I can use any payment processor and dont have to fax them in anything. This account was opened back in september 2008 and has 100% feedback. So i am reallly excited.

1 question I dohave is... if i decided to use paypal again, but with a variation is that ok or should i just use other payment processors? Thanks.

Are you serious? Wow that's incredible of them but...I don't know how long it will last so I would tread lightly.

How did you pull off the not obligated to use Paypal deal?

Still to other payment processors - is your paypal really limited? than might as well work on deblocking...

My paypal with my REAL info is really limited. So, in my message to Ebay I mentioned that. Their response was we have other payment processing tools to use. I just went ahead and listed something and used Paymate> it went through and I did not have to link a Paypal account.

you could also just add a matching info paypal to it, you might need it....I do not get how you have bypassed pp on a 2008 account, but hey... .

If my Paypal with REAL info is limited forever, can I create a new Paypal with the same info on my newly reinstated account? Wouldnt the new Paypal account get limited almost immediately?

like has happened to you - sometimes paypal goes down and ebay left standing, usually you need to scrap ebay account because you need paypal to accept payment most often, but they seem to have been very understanding about it - strange, not heard of that before, usually you are expected to give up the ebay for selling purposes........

whats the worse that could happen, you could get limited again, so only use pp when you really have to and dont keep much money in it, is all I can say...

All I can think of is that maybe the reason the account was limited was for minor violations and the rep he spoke with was in a VERY GOOD MOOD that day - like they just won the lottery or something...

Most banks offer online banking which includes merchant services like a virtual terminal. For example, wellsfargo has a virtual terminal. I'm not surprised Ebay reinstated you. They need all the listings they can get right now. Their stocks are dropping fast, because of the new changes. And of course Ebay would allow you to not have to use PP. After all, they own PP; therefore, they have right of control, and right now, they need listings so bad, they'll allow you to not use their PP service they had bought out a few years ago.

But hey, congrats!!!! You caught ebay at an extremely opportunistic time!

If I were you I would use Paymate!

I am also planning to do this since the only reason my account was limited was because I have a negative balance on Paypal -600. I believe after I pay that my eBay account will automatically be reinstated and I will have my legit and stealth eBay career up and running at the same time! :D

I was suspended for multiple reasons initially,

Unpaid balance, shill bidding, linked accounts, selling excessive gift cards, and copyright violation... it happened around Feb 2010

They did put me on a selling limit of $2,000 per week right now and if I need to increase that then I should email them.

Thanks Slapped for the advice. I might just use the account for buying items since it has real info, and also i might periodically sell on there.

Most of the time an ebay account is suspended do to the fact of high risk and not actual misuse and breaking of the TOS. Thats why you see these easy reinstates...

Since, I now have this accoutn re-instated I want to buy items from eBay. If i order using a stealth Paypal account ( different name and address than EBay) will my shipping address be my Paypal account or Ebay account? The reason i ask is becuase i tried purchasing something and it shows my Ebay address ( with REAL info) as place it will get shipped, and if thats the case I am will be good.
