| forummember | 08-07-2010 06:45 AM | DHGate Just bought some items off a seller on DHGate, they've got good feedback and are quite established.
When I check the status of my item it says;
"Awaiting Shipment and Items being processed"
Does this mean that the seller knows I've ordered and is now getting ready to send them? They've been offline for a few days? |
| dzill | 08-07-2010 09:37 AM | yes wait some day and your item will be shipped soon, process time is indicate in product summary |

First of all it is SATURDAY Night There Now, China is either on a 12 or 13 Hour time (Ahead) difference, Depending on what part of China the Seller is in, Also it takes Sellers a Day or two to Get the Order together, if it is a Reputable Seller it should ship By Tuesday, if not, Contact them, DHGate Forces Sellers to Ship Quickly, and has a Pretty good Dispute System, So Do Not Worry.
And YES, The Seller Knows about the Order the Moment you Buy it, Awaiting Shipment means that DHGate is waiting for the Seller to Input a Tracking Number for the Order, A Lot like Ebay and Amazon |

| hpcpqcsco | 08-09-2010 11:26 PM | Take me almost 30 days to get my item from register mail |
| turbo | 08-10-2010 09:38 PM | took me 9 days to get my order ;)
i guess it depends on supplier |
| ghostboy | 08-18-2010 03:14 PM | I usually get mine within a week. I always tell them ill buy now if they ship out that day. Never had a problem. Love that dh gate. Problem is that it seems like the Chinese are selling there own things now. Theres no room for profit on our end. |
| forummember | 08-18-2010 04:54 PM | There's still a lot of profit to be made. |
| DogFacedBoy | 08-21-2010 12:54 PM | In my experience the item will actually show up on the EMS tracking site 2-3 days after receiving the email saying that the item has been shipped...another 5-7 days to my door.
Anyone ever use them to drop ship?
I'm a little nervous about the delivery confirmation aspect with regards to Paypal. But if there was a way to do it without hangups it would be sweet! |

I think drop-shipping would be fine as long as you speak with the supplier. |
| jbluntz | 08-21-2010 02:24 PM | Not really I've done it many times, not only do you get complaints about wait time but also people complain about it coming from China and if you put your location in China you won't get many sales. |

In many cases I wouldn't mind putting down China as location and putting in the description 7-10 days delivery time. But first of all can you even enter EMS tracking data into Paypal? And secondly you would have zero chance of winning a dispute if the buyer filed an "item not as described" dispute claiming it was a knock off. |
| jbluntz | 08-21-2010 02:49 PM | I always sent the tracking to there e-mail when they requested it and no I never won any not as described claims accept for non ebay sales. |

I was just saying that on DHGate you can put whatever address you like on the checkout.
I did once sell some Vero items, and put the item location as 'Worldwide'. I had a few complaints, but I sold a lot so it wasn't surprising. I just refunded them and put it down as a lost. Although, about 3 weeks later eBay put a selling restriction on my account so someone must have flagged it a couple of times. | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 04:28 PM. | |
