Ok so Im working on the phone number part of my stealth account before I get things up and running. From what I have read landlines are really the way to go to avoid any issues for Ebay/Paypal to confirm. Im thinking about opening an account with Vonage and pay $10 a month. My only concern is that the address I will be using is my friends but he lives in another state so the area code will be different. I live on the border of Massachusetts and New Hampshire and reside in NH. He lives about 10 miles away. Will that be an issue?

10 miles should not be an issue really.

What if for some reason they ask why the area code is based out of NH but the address is in Mass?

Chances are they won't pick up on something only 10 miles away. If the area code is a problem, then you'll need to get an area code based in the same area.

Yeah you can choose your area code with Vonage.
