Withdrawal from Australian accounts with USA bank
I know it used to be possible to withdraw to a USA bank account from Australian PayPal accounts using a USA checking account, though for a while now the checking option has changed. There is no longer an option to withdraw to a checking account, but to a USA current account. Now I have searched this up and it seems that some places state that USA current accounts are the same as a checking account, it is just the term checking account is a USA term. So my question is can you withdraw to a USA checking account from an Australian PayPal account and how is this done, is it the same as a checking account

This isn't a question paypal can answer.... it's up to the bank to accept the deposit. I know with a Canadian version of what you're talking about, there isn't a problem. You are talking about having AUS currency in paypal, and withdrawing to a USA only currency bank, or having USA currency in paypal, and withdrawing to USA bank?

paypal gives a huge warning message that the banks have to match currencies... but it's actually up to the bank to be willing to accept the deposit.
