Can't lift limit on Paypal account!
 

Have been using my 1st stealth paypal account ok but now received message about requiring extra info to lift limits which I expected. I successfully added a new bank acccount at the beginning when opened paypal account and have had success in verifying by phone. The other day I added entropay card as my credit card. Opened entropay in my own name and address then, then made a 2nd entropay in my new stealth name by adding funds from my 1st entropay card. Entered 4 digit paypal ok and once again verified by phone. Paypal states I completed all steps but when I try to lift limits now there is a message in paypal that says:-

'We were unable to confirm the information you provided'

I have just thought is this because when I opened my first entropay card I had to enter my real address and then when I opened a 2nd entropay card by adding funds from my 1st entropay card - i was unable to add a new address to 2nd card. Will paypal see what my original address is? How do I go about solving this problem please?

There is no problem with entropay card since you spouted back the 4 digits.

To solve this problem is to call Paypal now from your registered phone number if possible. Any other steps left to be done in resolution center?

I completed all the steps in the resolution centre but I am still getting the following message:-

'We were unable to confirm the information you provided'

This message is placed next to 'confirm personal information' even though it has got a tick. Any idea please?

You can change your entropay address to match paypal address. Normally, pp wont let you add the card if address dont match.
Let us know how you get on with solving this. It is strange cos we have had case of even when all task are successfully completed, the link stating 'lift limits' still shows

Just read this. Seems you are same situation with one of my accounts.
Initially, it couldn't confirm personal details (possibly via electoral roll) and then it defaulted to telephone check which was successful but alas, the 'lift limit' button still remains even though there is no provision to complete any more task.
I emailed PP and was told all was okay and that there was nothing left for me to do. The email didnt make much sense to me but i didnt want to probe further

Same here, got the email from paypal saying all is good and i checked couple of days later and the link was gone, mind you this was when i was still getting payment holds.

A few days back had an email from paypal saying they have lifted my account holds, so i thought great! logged back in my account and the stupid limit link has come back again... going to wait it out a couuple of days and see what happens if not going to contact them and ask them whats going on

I had exactly the same problem. I simply removed the credit card i had on file with paypal.The one i added had gone missing in real life and was out of action, so it was replaced. As soon as i took the card off the lift limits button was gone. Paypal did not even ask me add a new card!!. Now my account is still going with no limits and no holds on funds.

May i suggest that you remove entropay

So you think I should remove entropay card and even though paypal 4 digit code was ok? I did try to change my address on my original entropay card (no option to change address on 2nd funded entropay card) then got an email back from entropay saying changes could not be accepted! So still got my real address on there. Do you think another credit/gift card might work better and get limits lifted by paypal? I am reluctant to phone paypal myself incase they ask all sorts of questions!

I went through the whole "we need more information". I also did the 4 digit pin code for phone verification but still the "lift limits" button was there, all my "to do " boxes wre ticked as done.
Like i said remove the entropay card and if your lucky like me your limits will instantly be lifted without you needing to add a new card.
Im no expert on gift cards so i can not comment.

Im going to give it a go also, as one of my new accounts is having exactly same problems and its beena few days now. So ive just removed my entro card, will kep you informed. :D

Firstly, there was no need to create a second enropay account. Waste of time. You do not need to change the address on entropay, it will work on PP no matter what.

Entropay's job is done. No need to remove the card.

There are a few glitches in the PP system atm, either wait and see, or give them a call.

Don't be scared to talk to them on the phone. There will come a time when you get limited, and a 10 minute call will save days and days of being limited. Be brave!

I had the same problem with all 4 of my paypal accounts, all my "to do" boxes wre ticked as done, but the "lift limits" button was there.

So I called up paypal and I got no joy, so then all I did was remove my back account and vcc, then re-enter it again. After this the "lift limits" button was gone.
I did the same thing with all my accounts and it works a treat everytime.

using the right anonymous vcc would have prevented this like the other UK vcc buyers.
your trouble is the entropay or whatever your using

I have tried removing my entropay card and re-entering it. I can't yet remove my bank account as there is a withdrawel in action. I am still getting same message 'unable to lift limits' I am stuck with what to do next. Is entropay the problem? Which other vcc card is accepted by paypal? Thanks for all your replies and help so far.

What good news. After re-entering my entropay card, I logged out and then logged back in and limits have been automatically lifted. Thanks everyone for help and suggestions - got there in the end. What a great site!

Hope you also get sorted with paypal as well. It can be a real pain when you are playing the waiting game!

Put in the card - got the 4 digits spouted - done.
Bank account - deposits verified - done.
Now for the 3rd step = location confirmation - seems like it's asking me for new card to proceed with phone call. Use the same card - says "Already used" - weird.

I think I had this same problem but once phone call was verified it didn't ask me for another card. All the steps were then shown as completed. Hope that's all it is. Try it and see.
