MC010 notice, phone number not valid then MC0169 for extra info

So I used the 800 number strategy from the guide to get bypass the PIN during registration. Months later, I am now hit with the MC010 notice and I read around the forums and it seems like people say it's good to use the same phone number ebay has on file. My problem is that I don't have access to that number, so what can I do now? And I obviously cannot use my home or cell phone number since those numbers are associated with suspended accounts.

For starters, you should have kept the number valid for the life of the account. (Bit late now)

Buy a tracfone. Call ebay & say you've got this notice & you guess it is because of the phone number being dead. Give them a story about you did not realize you needed to have a number but here it is now....

Make sure you have all your info about your account
Simples:pop2:

Would calling ebay from someone else's phone get the job done? The number isn't on file with ebay. I'm not familiar with tracphone.

So apparently I went to the link they provided in the email they sent me the following day, which leads to the contact page about verifying your seller's account. Now this time around, hitting the contact button directs you to have an online chat with them, and I got that settled, which ended up me having to email ebay's customer support about the email I got about verifying seller's account. And surprisingly that was all that I had to do to get the limit removed. No need to call, no need to answer their questions, or anything. A simple email stating that you got the verification seller thing from them was all it takes to get the job done. So is this how they are gonna verify new sellers now?

That's good to here, I just got hit with another one today and one yesterday, for the one yesterday I just e-mailed em and told em I was deaf and can't talk, it's always the same guy when I call up, I'm pretty sure he recognizes my voice. The last time I talked to em he asked who my supplier was and I told him I got recemondations from several top rated sellers w/1000's of fb I knew who told me they get all their stuff from dhgate, tradetang and alliexpress, you should have heard how hard he was trying to hold his laugh in lol, he still reinstated me, but just to be safe, I'd rather chat.

Apparently that did not work out too well. They suspended me because they want more verification.

MC169 Notice - Ebay wants more verification.

Now they are asking for Driver's license or other IDs and recent statements showing my name and address. I can provide them those, problem is the address does not match the stealth address, because it's stealth. I can probably get by with telling them that I moved and all, but the problem is the current address that shows up on my statement and the driver license is an address associated with a banned account.

First the MC010, now the MC169, this is getting ridiculous, feels like the stealth book doesn't really help at all.

I got the same thing to, the only reason I got mc169 is because I opened another account in the same info after getting mc010, I've got plenty of accounts so I was gonna just dump that one, thats what happens when you get impatient and start selling to quick.

ebay has changed how it deals with new account sellers. Dont blame ebay stealth....this is quite likely fixable

So you got everything fixed when you dealt with the MC010? How long after did you get the MC0169? Sometimes notices come out incorrectly

I'd phone them back and talk my way out of the 2nd problem. Ask them wth is wrong etc etc. Be firm but sincere :pop2:

Can't even contact them since my account is blocked. Tried the contact page, but every time I type in a question, it redirects me back to the same contact page over and over again.

Looks like my only option now is to submit the info they want me to fax. Am I screwed?
