Direct debit/linking query
 

I'm setup with...

false name on ebay paypal aswell as all of the rest of it, used a prepaid card to setup paypal and new bank account,

now when im trying to complete the banking verification the direct debit form to my bank will have the wrong name... should i send it or not?

And is it best to link the ebay/paypal accounts or not?

I've read the stealth guide and still need clarification on these points please people.

1. Wrong name is ok - depends on your bank - most banks allow it - lots of posts about the ones which do/don't.

2. I would not link ebay and paypal accounts - the automatic payment method etc...for several reasons. The big one is that ebay can force a withdrawal from paypal - which could set off limitation. One limitation can lead to the other. Many other reasons though.

I always fill the direct debit mandate in using a micky mouse bank address, you will get the varification amounts normally 3 days later, after that time the bank receives the dd mandate and kicks it back to paypal, but by then you have your 2 amounts so no worries, just get the amounts into paypal asap and get it varified, once its varified just add another online savings account to it, and off you go, you can now withdraw to an online savers account, best bit is, paypal no matter how hard they try can never recoup money from a savings account, win win I reckon!
