Default Letter from Manuacturer

I had a couple pair if boots seized by Uk customs a few weeks ago and opened a letter today regarding the seizure.

One part is from the manutacturer telling me the goods are "£$% and that they are being seized. They want me to sign of and agree to the destruction of the goods. It says i wont hear from them again. Do i sign it an send it back?

They also asked me to let them know where i purchased from.

It also comes with a letter from the border force located in the city it entered customs UK. I have noticed that most of my parcels come through via the same city. Should i change up address here? Or nothing to worry about because it was such a small order seized?

You're unlikely to have any problems if it was a pair of boots, for all you know they were real when you ordered them and the seller then sent you ⊗⊗⊗⊗ ones. Was the letter sent registered and did you have to sign it? If not, you could throw it in the garbage and claim you never got it.

Exactly - don't respond, don't do anything - boots are gone.

It's not recommended, but you can. I've had items seized and kept using the same address. Just wait a little and use a different shipping company. Like if it got seized by DHL use EMS the next time.

Ignore the letter. I would change the address for a few months.

Think i could get away with changing the address around slightly?

Or do they get you by postcode?

Don't suppose you would know whether or not this is true.

If you have a seizure at a block of flats, does that automatically blacklist the entire building as they share the same postcode?

That would seem unlikely but you can never be sure with customs - a government-type of paypal...
