ID for business name
 

so I havent been asked for ID yet on my business accounts, but I have put business names on them in the place of the first and last name eg. Rose Garden

I initally did it so it could look like either a business or a name, to give me options, but I am starting to wonder if they look at it, and ask for ID and I give Rose Garden on a DL, they might be like..are you serious?

So, if you have a business name eg in UK 'trading as' is enough, so you then give a completely different ID name for owner?

Also what about address, if it is registered at PO box, would bank statement for pobox business address be ok?

For one as you know, I can't really comment on the UK status at all but:

DL with weird name - if you account is not automatical lifted and you call to speak to an agent, yes I would say it looks kind of sketchy and would lead to further limitation info request...

Bank statement to po box address is normal for businesses. I do it for my own.

That's a good question... you could always say later you're just the accountant, and didn't want your name on the paypal account :)

i use a trading name (waffle waffle) and service address as it is real address

when i join pp, i enter the (waffle waffle) as trading name with service address

Then where it asked for personal i enter ( Stealth Name ) and Service address as home address so it looks like i live at the same address (work from home)

i get bank statements and DL sent to that address and any other bills i can

When i am asked to verify myself it is simple. i just send DL and bank statement.
