How long does Ebay wait before sending to collections agency
 

Hi

I owe money to ebay for buyer reimbursements

I was trying to pay for it using a debit card that i used on a suspended account
but kept getting an error message, I was about to chat which a rep

They said wait 8 min than after 8 min it changed to 50 min, so i decided to come here and ask my question

I was wondering how long ebay waits for you to pay your fee before sending it
to IC systems Collections agency

At least 90 days, but I suspect even longer. I still get ebay messages from a year ago. As long they are contacting you they have not sent your account to 3rd party collections.

The more important question is, when does ebay and/or paypal report to credit.....

and the answer is..... (from my personal experiences)....

A collections agency coming after you really can't hurt you. If ebay really wanted they money, they would sue you.

A collections agency has no more powers - they are just an interloper. Anybody having any difficulties PM me and I will provide you with a template letter to get them off your back.
