why me, please help

hi guys every time i try to list a vero item on 2 weeks old stealth account i keep getting this suspension 2-3 hours later.
Here is the message -

Dear Mr. Use your brain please,

We regret to inform you that your eBay account has been suspended.

*Why did we suspend your account?

From experience we know that certain items and actions are more associated with fraudulent activity on eBay than others. As a precaution, we suspend an account if it gives us cause for concern. We then ask for more before we reinstate the account.

Please understand we're not accusing you of fraudulent behaviour. Our top priority is to ensure that eBay remains a safe and reputable place to buy and sell, so we'd like to confirm some of the information you've given us.

An account suspension in these circumstances is covered in the eBay User Agreement under the heading "Abusing eBay". For more information, open a new browser window and paste this link into it:

Your User Agreement

*Here's what you should do now:

Please send us all of the following information and we'll review your account:

1) Proof of name
2) Confirmation of your registered address
3) Proof that the item/s you listed are in your possession

You can find out more details on the types of acceptable documents, as well as how you can upload your documents and here:

eBay Requests for Proof of Identity and Ownership of Items

Please be assured that eBay treats your personal information with the utmost care. We always destroy documents after we've reviewed them.

*What happens next?

Please allow three days for us to review your account after we have received your documents. We'll then contact you via email. Your account will remain suspended until we receive and review these documents.

We appreciate your cooperation and look forward to your response so that we can resolve this matter as soon as possible.

Regards,

eBay Trust & Safety

Can you guys please tell me why i keep getting suspended whilst I see other new accounts selling the same item as me. thanks.

They do this very often on stealth accounts. I got one of mine reinstated this morning, after only 2 days as limited status. They limited it on the very first item that I put up. It may not be you or the item you sell, it's just ebay being c**nts!!
Vero items are an issue though as people watch these sections and report you, especially the other sellers of the same items. Lots of sellers on ebay DO NOT like competition!
If this is happening to all of your accounts you would need to start getting creative with things so you have what ebay need from you when they ask for it!

Having your username and email address on a stealth forum probably doesn't help your accounts either.

Best remove them when you can :)

Here are the tips that will help you even if your in the uk since this works for me in the usa:

1. Do not list on the first day you open an ebay account wait some days if possible or until the 2nd day. I listed an item on the first day i opened a stealth account and got a call from ebay, failed the questions and got suspended. Got sad and now im back on others. So positive attitude.

2. Open other stealth accounts just for backup. Don't rely on just 1 or 2 stealth accounts. Ebay is always unpredictable with new ebay laws coming in every year.

3. Try to list in a different category close to the category your selling in and use the specific keywords that users would search for since I beleive users search and don't go into categories alot. Unless they are nerds lol.

Good luck!

i do list in different categories, i sometimes list without vero keywords and i also list after my account is 1-2 weeks old but still get hit :)
not fair.

I beleive the Stealth Guide recommends aging an account for at least 30 days before listing items. I was anxious, but patiently followed this advice, and had no problems listing Vero on two accounts (so far) after the 30 days.

as Kris says above i've waited 30 days b4 listing vero items & no probs so far.
you maybe just unlucky m8 but try waiting a tad longer to sell.

Don't forget to build some feedback before you sell.

billieshakespeare 10-09-2010 03:00 AM

ok thanks guys i`ll wait the 30 days before listing vero. although i have successfully listed vero on 2-3 days accounts without any problems but it`s a gamble as some survives and some gets hit. :)
