Tip to avoid MC010 suspensions
 

I was just on the phone with an ebay rep. Allegedly (and keep in mind an ebay employee said this so take it with a grain of salt), if you change ANY registration information before you post on ebay it will cause your account to auto MC010 after you list your first item. Such as changing your phone number. Can anyone else share experiences with this and see if we can compare notes?

Makes sense, but it's gonna happen by hook or crook so I don't bother with dodging it. Thanks for the info though.

Also, eBay is drowning in an ocean of their own BS. It takes min. 2 hours now to get through to LIVE CHAT or get someone on the phone. How the hell are they staying on top of all this? Maybe if Meg Whitman loses the governor race she can come back as president. She at least acted like she cared about sellers even if company policies remained hostile towards us.

I am able to get some accounts to sell without getting hit with MC010. Avoiding it altogether is still the best option.

During MC010 reviews they definitely look at what you were trying to sell. Stock photos are definitely something their system detects. This guy asked me why I was using a stock photo instead of taking my own photos.

Act normal, like a newbie would. And you won't get the MC010.

Just don't act too normal then they might think you're trying to phake it lol.
