Just dawned on me as I was setting up my new stealth accounts today, is this OK.. I'm sure it is.

I know eb and pp are massive corporations and I'm sure don't have the time to be going after small time sellers, but just wanted to check with the community on here to re-assure myself!!

PayPal is not government institution and different rules apply...weather we like or not. If you tried to open checking account with ⊗⊗⊗⊗ name in any US bank that would be considered fraud.

Of course, that's what I thought. Even so, do you think once I'm starting to sell regularly on these accounts it would make sense to register the names as 'DBA' names, just to cover myself, or is it not really worth it?

do not set up an account in a residential address that belongs to a stranger, they may already have an ebay address or a letter may go to them in error.

better if you use high traffic rental buildings like offices or residential accom that has free flow of people

I've said this before but not to you. You have an ebay account that because of circumstances is stealth. The account has to have a suitable name, access to a real address and used just as carefully as any account. You operate any account as comfortably as you can. Simples :peace:
