I go with Jeff and I go with lakeman. And no I'm not nuts. here's my reasoning.
lakeman is correct. This is said many times that paypal does not see the name of bank accounts. That's great if this is the 1st time that bank account has been applied to a paypal account.
BUT here's the catch, and this is where jeff is accurate. paypal has given you a message ' account used'. It's like that line 'Warning, Warning, Will Smith.' Are you going to endanger the account now by linking? Is the account tarnished by association. Since it is, then you might be better to go with another paypal account and bank.
Asking if banks accept different names for transfers is like asking the length of a piece of string. Overall they dont and if you can give a reasonable excuse, there is seldom a problem. But if you are doing a high volume of transfers & trigger anything within the bank's security guidelines, then you have to expect troubles..
where does that leave you?
