Stealth PP Just Limited 180 Days
 

Hi,

One of my stealth PP, selling VERO on eBay, was limited after I tried withdrawing. Only attempted to withdraw $100.

It was immediately limited and I was told to confirm my location (had to enter another VCC), provide invoices and supplier contact info.

After I provided all necessary documents, I received an e-mail saying appeal denied and my $ would be held for 180 days.

I will be calling them later today. It was a definite stealth account, I have all the info.

How much balance did you have in it? How many days after last sale? All these things do factor in the more and more I test.

Hopefully your call helps but I really doubt it. All the best though. Looking forward to updates.

Had $350ish, the sales were still going, but the $100 I withdrew was released from the 21 day hold.

The rep said another rep reviewed the documents I sent and based on that, they felt I was still high risk.

They might have tried verifying the supplier invoice/documents.

The rep also told me that PP uses proprietary information/databases to verify users. Maybe they attempted to for my stealth and just couldn't do it.

Either way, he said my funds are limited for 180 days. I let out a big sigh and asked what I'm supposed to do.

He said if I don't have any buyer complaints, chargebacks, etc. I could try calling back in 21 days.

I doubt that's going to work.

21 days huh? I might just try that. My first stealth Paypal was limited in the first month, as I think I sold too much. After faxing documents, I was advised of the 180 day hold. I was also advised I could call after 90 days and request an early release. This was a few weeks ago, and I left it alone. Then eBay started requesting that the overdue fees be paid for my 2 accounts that were linked to the Paypal. I called Paypal, and the rep released the funds I need to cover the eBay fees to my bank account!!! I was surprised to say the least. He then told me to call back 3 weeks from now to request that the rest of the funds be released as I've received positive feedback and no complaints... I'm not holding my breath tho.

Interesting follow-up but yeah, it's time to move on and focus your time and dedication to new accounts.

Hmmm...thanks for the info, I'll be doing the same once my eBay fees are due.

Gah, must be really tough to keep cool in this situation. You sound really seasoned and used to their abuse, so more power to you.

Strange. As I said above, last week paypal released just under $100, on a limited account, so that I could pay my eBay fees. They transferred the funds to my bank account, and I transferred it to eBay. This week, the same amount was again transferred to my checking account from the limited Paypal. Sure hope this conitnues on weekly basis!
