question regarding VMWARE

for those of you using vmware, do you have to create a new windows login?
or can you run vmware from the same window login as a suspended account?

i'm running vmware player my original o/s is vista, but my vmware is xp.

thanks

i think you mean user account by what i bolded above...new windows login=user account?

if so then no when you create a new vm you have basically made another computer with the same user and they see whatever name you name the vm as the user...i do mine on a seperate user though pw protected cuz you never know who might hop on my computer :mad2:

yes, that's what i meant by new windows login.
so when the "new computer" gets banned, do you just reinstall the same operating system?

thanks

I like to install a fresh OS on each vmware, works like a charm.

No normally installing a new os gives you a new mac, so don't have to worry about it.
