Providing false address Question
 

Good day, I have a quick question here that I can't seem to find an answer to. I'll make it short and sweet. I am starting my new stealth account and provided a real address in my city, but it is box store. My question is if / when ebay sends out letters etc. and say the mail happens to get returned. Does ebay look for this and shut down your account? Let me know if you know. Thanks.

ebay does not usually send out letters on regular accounts, I might start a thread on that, which settings to press, I have never had a letter though.

Some countries eg UK, have a pin that goes out by letter if phone verification fails, but you would have weeks of warning that would happen. so no, I do not think it is an issue.

I just remember that I received a power seller letter once before from ebay. This is what concerns me. Not sure how much of a issue it is although. I would like to keep this current account indefinitely selling non vero.

i dont think they would suspend you,theyd just ask you to update your address.People move

Ahh ok good to hear. I actually might be moving soon, which would be good, as then I could provide a real address to my ⊗⊗⊗⊗ name hah (not moving for this reason, just so happen to be)

Tell me, the account you set up your store with. Is it STEALTH? How did you answer the questions for it? Like what address have you previously lived at, etc...

Ebay rarely sends out anything, but every single year i get Christmas booklets from them even for accounts that are no longer active.

Yeah, on top of that...if people get them, they will think it's a mistake and throw them out like junk mail.
