Item not as described (purchased outside of ebay)

As of November 1st, 2010 you can now file claims for items not as described that were purchased outside of ebay. I received some damaged goods the other day, anyone have any success with there new policy? I plan on filing a claim, but want to get a heads up before doing so.

:peace:

I'm pretty sure it has always been this way perhaps there just updating there policy to state so. Cause I remember opening a snad years ago for something not off ebay.

The seller wont help? If they wont help the claim will go in your favor once you return item.

SNAD off ebay will I have no doubt turn into a scammers paradise. [Not you] They can buy anything they want, file claim, mail an empty box and thats that. Its going to be the wild west you can count on it......

But anyway, if seller wont buck up, you are pretty safe for the refund.

This is actually good news! Before Nov. 1st if you bought something outside of ebay, you could not file a claim unless the item wasn't delivered. Now all those stubborn sellers on dhgate and alibaba have no choice but to refund the money lol. I'm definitely returning this crap, no way can I sell a bunch of dvd boxed sets that are smashed and broken. Thanks for the info guys!

No, its not. At all

I am sure you have dealt with bad eBay buyers looking for free rides. Try having this greif from website sales too now. It helps you in this case to be certain. But its basically another way for crooks to get free crap.... They will be all over this like flies to s**t in no time

I actually meant good news for me lol, but on a serious note, I understand what your saying, it can become a scammers paradise for sure.
