How to Avoid Suspension - My Experience!!
 

Hey everyone,

So here is a little contribution on how to avoid limitations/suspension from ebay from my experience.

I had this account since 2005 both ebay and paypal but low feedback and limited activity until I got into ebay selling before finding this forum a few weeks ago

Started selling everything went well for about 15 transactions (my items were in the range of 120 - 250 electronics). So anyways got stupid put some up and sold some vero items which is not the reason I got limited but I will get to it later.

Overnight sold for about 1.5k legit and non legit. Few hours later got suspended. I refund last 5 transaction (legit + non legit) to avoid cases opening when they dont see the listing). Few days later paypal limited.

I sent them documents ebay got restored paypal not.

NOW HERE IS WHAT I HAVE LEARNED FROM EBAY

Even if your account has been in activity since 99 Ebay new prevention measure I guess will limit your account at one point or another for wtv reason even if you legit or not as most of you already know.

Now the punch line. When I have received my welcoming back letter from ebay they told me they have set a limitation of 2000$ monthly/renewable every month sales and that if I wish to raise the limit to please contact them.

Additionally what I realized is before I made my last 5 sales which got me suspended my total monthly sales were almost 2000$ like 1923$

LESSON TO LEARN

If you have never went above 2000$ in monthly sales and want to avoid getting a suspension out of nowhere call ebay or email with a plan of expansion and be ready to provide what ever they will ask for.

You will obviously need to provide information to show them you are not a jokeroo so at the very least expect

-id (driver license, statements of cc or bank, etc)

- supplier information (IMPORTANT if you sell many items only 2-3 products necessary)

This last bit of info saved me honestly many people overlook this fact. Show them 1-2 legit suppliers no need to send them 100 invoices.

Anyways this will help raise your limit beyond 2000$ and avoid you immediate or early suspension. I'm sure they will come back down the road but this is a start for any one getting into the biz.

that helps with EB, PP SSN request is where the trouble is at unless you dont have your EB account linked.

yeh for us...canada dosnt ask ssn :) you can buy pp ssn here i believe or set up all canadian with vpns

no, nobody on here sells paypal with ssn.

ya no ssn sales here...and dont buy anyones ssn...asking for trouble trouble
